Bol raz jedno malé mestečko uprostred hustých lesov a šumivých potokov. V tomto mestečku žila 10-ročná dievčina menom Anička. Bola to odvážna, zvedavá a srdečná dievčina, ktorá milovala prírodu a trávila veľa času hraním sa v lese so svojimi kamarátmi, chlapcami.
Anička bola veľmi súťaživá. Chcela ukázať, že dokáže robiť všetko, čo aj chlapci – šplhať na stromy, chytať ryby a rýchlo bežať. Stále sa snažila byť najlepšia vo všetkom, čo robila. Niekedy sa však cítila unavená a trochu smutná, pretože jej nešlo všetko tak, ako si predstavovala.
Jedného dňa, keď sa Anička hrala pri potoku, stretla starú múdru ženu, ktorá žila na okraji lesa. Volali ju Babička Lesana. Bola to žena so šedivými vlasmi, láskavými očami a vždy mala na tvári úsmev. Babička Lesana mala v rukách košík plný čerstvých bylín a kvietkov, ktoré zbierala.
„Čo ťa trápi, Anička?“ spýtala sa jemným hlasom.
Anička si sadla vedľa babičky a všetko jej vyrozprávala. Povedala jej, ako sa snaží súťažiť s chlapcami a ako sa cíti unavená a nespokojná, pretože nedokáže byť vo všetkom najlepšia.
Babička Lesana sa usmiala a pohladila Aničku po vlasoch. „Vieš, drahá Anička, každý z nás má svoje silné a slabé stránky. Nemusíš sa snažiť byť rovnaká ako chlapci. Tvoje ženské vlastnosti sú rovnako dôležité pre svet. Nemusíš súťažiť, ale dopĺňať.“
„Ako to myslíte?“ spýtala sa Anička zvedavo.
„Pozri sa na tento košík bylín a kvetov,“ povedala babička. „Každý kvet má svoju jedinečnú krásu a vôňu. Niektoré kvety sú silné a výrazné, iné sú jemné a nenápadné, ale všetky spolu tvoria nádherný celok. Tak je to aj s ľuďmi. Chlapci a dievčatá majú rôzne schopnosti a vlastnosti, ktoré sa navzájom dopĺňajú.“
Anička sa zamyslela nad babičkinými slovami. Uvedomila si, že sa nemusí stále porovnávať s chlapcami. Začala viac vnímať svoje vlastné silné stránky a uvedomila si, že jej láskavosť, trpezlivosť a empatia sú veľmi hodnotné vlastnosti, ktoré môžu priniesť veľa dobra do sveta.
Od toho dňa Anička prestala súťažiť s chlapcami a začala viac spolupracovať. Objavila, že keď spolupracujú, môžu dosiahnuť veľké veci. Chlapci sa od nej učili trpezlivosti a ona sa od nich učila odvahe. Spolu tvorili silný tím, ktorý dokázal zvládnuť akúkoľvek výzvu.
Anička sa stala vzorom pre ostatné dievčatá v mestečku. Ukázala im, že nie je dôležité byť najlepšia vo všetkom, ale že každý môže prispieť svojimi jedinečnými schopnosťami a vlastnosťami. Vďaka nej sa deti v mestečku naučili, že spolupráca a vzájomné dopĺňanie je kľúčom k skutočnému úspechu a šťastiu.
A tak žili všetci šťastne a spokojne, pričom si uvedomovali, že každý z nich je dôležitou súčasťou krásnej mozaiky života.
Once upon a time, there was a small town nestled among dense forests and babbling brooks. In this town lived a 10-year-old girl named Anička. She was brave, curious, and kind-hearted, loving nature and spending a lot of time playing in the forest with her friends, mostly boys.
Anička was very competitive. She wanted to show that she could do everything the boys could do – climb trees, catch fish, and run fast. She always tried to be the best at everything she did. Sometimes, however, she felt tired and a little sad because things didn’t always go as she had imagined.
One day, while playing by the stream, Anička met an old wise woman who lived on the edge of the forest. She was known as Babička Lesana. She had grey hair, kind eyes, and always wore a smile on her face. Babička Lesana was carrying a basket full of fresh herbs and flowers she had collected.
„What troubles you, Anička?“ she asked gently.
Anička sat down next to the old woman and told her everything. She explained how she was trying to compete with the boys and how she felt tired and dissatisfied because she couldn’t be the best at everything.
Babička Lesana smiled and gently stroked Anička’s hair. „You know, dear Anička, each of us has our own strengths and weaknesses. You don’t have to try to be the same as the boys. Your feminine qualities are just as important to the world. You don’t need to compete, but rather complement.“
„What do you mean?“ asked Anička curiously.
„Look at this basket of herbs and flowers,“ the old woman said. „Each flower has its own unique beauty and scent. Some flowers are strong and striking, others are delicate and subtle, but together they create a beautiful whole. It’s the same with people. Boys and girls have different abilities and qualities that complement each other.“
Anička pondered the old woman’s words. She realized that she didn’t need to constantly compare herself to the boys. She started to appreciate her own strengths and understood that her kindness, patience, and empathy were valuable traits that could bring a lot of good to the world.
From that day on, Anička stopped competing with the boys and started collaborating more. She discovered that when they worked together, they could achieve great things. The boys learned patience from her, and she learned courage from them. Together, they formed a strong team that could handle any challenge.
Anička became a role model for the other girls in the town. She showed them that it wasn’t important to be the best at everything, but that everyone could contribute with their unique abilities and qualities. Thanks to her, the children in the town learned that cooperation and mutual complementing were the keys to true success and happiness.
And so, they all lived happily and contentedly, realizing that each one of them was an important part of the beautiful mosaic of life.
