Seriál: Robo a stratená planéta Vek: Školák 10-12 Epizóda: 12/12

„Zaznamenávam pulzy každé tri sekundy a sedem desatín. Nepôsobí to náhodne.“

Robo sa už-už chystal vyraziť k dverám, no kamarátka zdvihla ruku. „Počkaj. Najprv overíme, či je cesta bezpečná.“

„Ale signál nás volal tak dlho,“ namietol.

„Práve preto nesmieme nič uponáhľať,“ odvetila pokojne.

Pip súhlasil veselým pípnutím. „Overenie odporúčam. Presnosť rastie, keď sa neponáhľame.“

Nakoniec teda priplávali k vonkajšiemu doku opatrne, jeden za druhým, a cez otvorený vstup vstúpili do tichej stanice.

Vo vnútri ich privítali dlhé chodby s farebnými panelmi. Niektoré boli prasknuté, iné pokryté prachom, no stále na nich svietili staré symboly, šípky a jednoduché herné značky.

Deti tu museli najprv pozorovať, potom porovnať dáta a napokon si výsledok overiť.“

Robo prešiel prstom po starom paneli so symbolmi planét.

Keď niečo nepoznáš, nemáš to opravovať naslepo.“

Chlapec si vydýchol, ale ustúpil. „Dobre. Čo vidíš?“

Kamarátka si spustila malú mapu stanice a porovnala ju s polohou blikajúceho modulu. „Tu je preťažený článok. Nie celý systém. Len jedna časť dostáva priveľa energie.“

Pip medzitým odmeral kolísanie. „Potvrdzujem.

Stanica sa znova zachvela, no stále bezpečne. Nebola nebezpečná, iba nepohodlná. Napätie v miestnosti bolo cítiť, ale nikto nepanikáril.

„Tak čo urobíme?“ spýtal sa Robo.

„Odľahčíme uzol,“ navrhla Ami. „A tok energie rozdelíme cez staré prepínače. Sú síce staré, ale stále funkčné.“

Pip sa otočil k panelu s niekoľkými veľkými farebnými tlačidlami. „Bezpečný zásah možný. Odporúčam postup po jednom kroku.“

Potom sa všetci traja pustili do práce. Robo držal otvorený kryt a sledoval hodnoty.

Písmená boli roztrhané, niektoré časti preblikávali a iné chýbali úplne. Napriek tomu bolo jasné, že ide o niečo dôležité. Na konci textu svietilo meno Niva-7.

Robo sa naklonil bližšie. „Čítam len úlomky. Hovorí to, že Niva-7 je aktívna?“

„Počkaj,“ zastavila ho Ami. „Nečítaj len jeden kus. Skúsme tri kroky, ako to tu bolo napísané.“

Najprv Robo analyzoval roztrhané znaky a hľadal v nich logiku. Potom Ami porovnala mapové značky so symbolmi na krúžku. Pravidelne.

„Pozri,“ povedal malý robot a zvýraznil sériu pulzov.

Objav bol veľký, no zároveň neúplný.

Ami presunula mapu bližšie k stredu hologramu. „A toto je zaujímavé. Starý systém ukazuje ďalší zdroj údajov mimo stanice. Akoby tu bola len polovica odpovede.“

Pip zapípal a priblížil dáta. „Potvrdzujem.

Nebolo to sklamanie. A práve to bolo dôležité.

To sa mi páči.“

„Boli výborné,“ povedal Robo úprimne. „Bez teba by sme rytmus nenašli.“

Nikto to ešte nevedel. No teraz už vedeli, ako hľadať správne: spolu, pomaly a s dôverou.

Robo and the Lost Planet, part 12: The Heart of the Signal

The Story Begins

When the old orbital station finally appeared before them, Robo stopped so fast that the hologram on his wrist flashed. Ahead of them, in the silence of space, floated an empty ring of metal and glass dotted with soft blue lights. It looked like a forgotten giant’s toy, but also like something that still guarded its own secret.

“So this is it,” the boy said, tilting his head toward the map display. “The signal is strongest right here.”

Ami adjusted her AR glasses and slowly looked over the station’s outer shell. “It’s not just a station,” she muttered. “See those modules? This used to have several learning sectors. Like a game that taught children to find answers on their own.”

The small robot Pip spun in the air, and its LED eyes blinked in a precise pattern. “I am recording pulses every three point seven seconds. That does not seem random.”

Robo was already about to head for the door, but his friend подняла руку. “Wait. First we check whether the way is safe.”

“But the signal has been calling us for so long,” he argued.

“Because of that, we must not rush,” she answered calmly.

Pip agreed with a happy beep. “Verification is recommended. Accuracy grows when we do not hurry.”

In the end, the three of them floated to the outer dock carefully, one after another, and entered the silent station through the open entrance.

Inside, long corridors welcomed them with colorful panels. Some were cracked, others covered with dust, but old symbols, arrows, and simple game marks still glowed on them. The air was cold and had a slight smell of metal insulation. The station did not feel scary. It felt sad, as if it was remembering the times when children’s laughter filled it.

Ami stopped at a wall with the words: “Check three steps, then trust the answer.”

“That’s interesting,” she said quietly. “This station was not only a storage place. It was an educational game. Children had to observe first, compare the data second, and only then verify the result.”

Robo ran his finger over an old panel with planet symbols. “Like a logic puzzle.”

“Exactly,” she nodded. “And according to the map, the core of the station is in the middle.”

Pip lowered himself toward a faded sign that was almost impossible to see. After a moment of scanning, he read it aloud: “The last working system keeps a message only for those who check three steps.”

“Three steps,” Robo repeated, thinking. This time his voice had no impatience in it, only curiosity. “So guessing is not enough.”

“No,” Ami smiled. “We have to think.”

A little later, they reached a power node where the next doors to the core should open. But just then the station gave a soft vibration. One of the stabilizing modules started blinking faster than the others, and the lights in the corridor dimmed.

“I think something is wrong,” Pip reported, and his LED eyes changed to a warning pattern.

The boy leaned toward the panel. “Then I’ll reset it.”

Ami gently caught the sleeve of his orange smart jacket. “First we find out exactly what is broken. When you do not know something, you should not fix it blindly.”

Robo breathed out, then stepped back. “All right. What do you see?”

She opened a small map of the station and compared it with the blinking module. “There is an overloaded cell here. Not the whole system. Just one part is getting too much energy.”

Meanwhile, Pip measured the changes. “Confirmed. The problem area is small, but the effect is unpleasant. The signal is weakening because of that cell.”

When Things Start to Change

The station shook again, but it was still safe. It was not dangerous, only uncomfortable. The tension in the room could be felt, but no one panicked.

“So what do we do?” Robo asked.

“We lower the load,” Ami suggested. “And we divide the energy flow through the old switches. They are old, but they still work.”

Pip turned to a panel with several large colored buttons. “Safe action possible. I recommend one step at a time.”

Then all three of them got to work. Robo held the open cover and watched the numbers. When one clamp got stuck, he took a small service tool, turned it gently, and the panel finally loosened a little by little. Ami showed which switches should move the load to a side circuit. Pip reported exactly when the numbers improved and when they needed to wait for a moment. It did not take long before the blinking module calmed down. The lights shone again, and the station stopped shaking.

“We did it,” Robo said with relief.

“Together,” Ami corrected with a smile.

When the power node became stable, a deep click sounded in the air. Then a round panel opened in the center of the room and revealed the station’s last working core. Inside it, an old data ring slowly lit up, surrounded by tiny holographic particles.

“That’s it,” Ami whispered. “The heart of the signal.”

A damaged message appeared on the ring. The letters were torn, some parts flashed, and others were missing completely. Still, it was clear that it was something important. At the end of the text, the name Niva-7 glowed.

Robo leaned closer. “I can only read pieces. Does it say Niva-7 is active?”

“Wait,” Ami stopped him. “Don’t read just one part. Let’s do the three steps, like it said here.”

First, Robo analyzed the torn signs and searched for their logic. Then Ami compared the map marks with the symbols on the ring. Later, Pip projected exact data measurements and showed that the signal repeated in the same rhythm. Not by chance. Regularly.

“Look,” the little robot said, highlighting a series of pulses. “This pattern returns after the same amount of time. And here… here the missing parts fill in when we follow only verified values.”

Ami nodded. “So the message does not say that Niva-7 is destroyed.”

Robo slowly joined the pieces of text. “It says more like… it is in protection mode. Or waiting.”

Silence filled the room. Not sad silence, but thoughtful silence. The discovery was big, but also incomplete. The signal did not belong to emptiness. It belonged to something that was hidden, protected, or patiently waiting for the right moment.

Ami moved the map closer to the center of the hologram. “And this is interesting. The old system shows another data source outside the station. As if this were only half of the answer.”

Pip beeped and zoomed in on the data. “Confirmed. The signal is only part of a larger cycle. One key piece is missing.”

Robo straightened up. This time he did not jump to conclusions first. Instead, he looked at his friend and the small robot. “So the next piece is not here. We have to find it somewhere else.”

“Yes,” Ami said. “But only after we write everything down.”

“And after I record everything exactly,” added Pip in a proud voice.

Together, they moved to the communication section near the core. On the large map, a new route lit up, leading from the station out into deeper space. It was not long, but it was clear. One point shone in a different color, as if it was waiting just for them.

An Important Moment

“That place is outside the station,” Robo muttered.

“Exactly there may be the last piece of the message,” Ami answered.

“And maybe the one who hid it long ago,” Pip added.

For a moment, all three just looked at the map. It was not disappointment. It was more like the feeling of having moved one step deeper into a big mystery. Each of them knew something now, but no one had the whole answer alone. And that was important.

Before leaving, they returned once more to the stabilizing panel. After the successful repair, the old system sent one last bright flash. Then its lights quieted, and the core switched into rest mode. The station was silent again, but no longer sad. It seemed calm now, as if it had finally taken a breath.

Robo turned to Ami. “You stopped me at the right moment. I wanted to say the signal was complete already. Now I see I was wrong.”

His friend smiled. “That’s not a failure. You just rushed.”

Pip fluttered in the air. “My data was very useful. I like that.”

“It was excellent,” Robo said honestly. “We would not have found the rhythm without you.”

The little robot answered with a cheerful beep that almost sounded like laughter.

In the end, the trio saved the new clue into the map and headed back to the dock. Behind them, the station stayed with its soft pulsing light, ready to guard its secrets a little longer. In front of them waited another road, another map, and another question.

Who left Niva-7 in protection mode? And where is the last piece of the message?

No one knew yet. But now they knew how to search the right way: together, slowly, and with trust.
